I read this article then went looking for recent news about something that is going right in this world. I couldn’t believe that more and more funding that supports our more vulnerable populations; our children, our sick and our elderly are being cut. I searched for the positive but was not able to find it in news of our government. Other countries seem to have better balance. The positive I found in the US was in tragic events where people reach past our failing government to help each other. I was encouraged by news of everyday events where suffering people are helping each other. Still I know that tax cuts for those who don’t need will affect those who do. How can we regain the footing that is lost in these vital program cuts?
